In McCallum the fishery is still strong while in Pushthrough it has been abandoned. Great Jarvis comes alive only in the spring, when the Morris Brothers return to pursue the lobster fishery.

Protecting our caribou. - Whenever. there's a threat to the wildlife or the environment you'll usually find industry on one side, protestors on the other. Often the lunatic fringe of both sides, are warring after the fact rather than co-operating before the damage has been done. But, in central Newfoundland, Abitibi Price and Provincial Wildlife have teamed up to help the woodlands caribou.
