Summary:
St. Mary's Bay fishery -- fishermen call it chasing the 'radio fish'. You can hear on the CB there's fish somewhere along the coast and you rush there to get your share but sometimes you're too late! It has happened a lot this year to St. Mary's Bay fishermen. It nearly did as well to 'Land and Sea', who go fishing out of Gaskiers and talk with some who chase the 'radio fish' to St. Mary's Bay.

Inshore fishery crisis -- Chris Butler fishes within the shadows of Cape Bonavista - site of Cabot's Landfall. In Cabot's time, according to what folklorists' tell us, fish were extremely plentiful. This summer, though, the inshore fishery for Hedley Butler and others was a disaster.
