This video contains an abridged version of "A Newfoundland Mummer's Play", performed by the Fred Kirby Junior High School Drama Club. The primary purpose of this video is to help Folk Literature students who may not have an opportunity of seeing a folk dram performed gain an appreciation for this particular type of dramatic presentation. It is also hoped that this production may help those teachers and students who are interested in producing their own folk drama.
