Harold MacPherson, amongst others, helped to restore the breed and began the breeding carried on today by modern kennel owners. Looks at the dog's habits and history.
Pt. 2 - Captain Bob Bartlett. -- Historian Thomas Appleton describe the resuce of the stranded karluk Expendition as one of the finest feats in Canadian maritime leadership. Bob Bartlett, a Brigus native, played a major role in that rescue as well as in several other Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.
