Pt. 2 - Captain Bob Bartlett. -- Historian Thomas Appleton describe the resuce of the stranded karluk Expendition as one of the finest feats in Canadian maritime leadership. Bob Bartlett, a Brigus native, played a major role in that rescue as well as in several other Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.
