For the last fifty years, Development and Peace has sought to create a movement for social justice, to form partnerships with groups that share its goals, and to influence the policies and practices of governments, transnational corporations and corporations. international institutions. During all these years, the organization has invested in the struggles for social justice and bet on the people who got involved in these struggles. It takes root and develops through the courage and tenacity of its partners and the selfless determination of those who join its movement. As Christians, we live in hope. The short articles and personal testimonials found in this book reflect a dynamic, faith-filled movement and eloquently reflect a Church of the poor.
