Escaping from a French penal colony in Guiana, Marcel Dupr runs for his life. Marcel was no ordinary prisoner--a manuscript he carries would seriously threaten the French government, and French agents have been sent out to ensure it and Marcel are never seen again. Wells Fargo messenger Jay McGraw is enlisted to locate Marcel and get them both safely across the West. But that's easier said than done.
