Life had become unbearable for Quin, drinking too much and smoking non-stop. Her escape to Vancouver, on the other side of the country following the suicide of her twin sister clearly wasn't working. She had to go back home. Upon returning to Newfoundland and Labrador, she meets her favorite old English teacher from high school and begins to look out for him, taking him to appointments and picking up his groceries. In time, she learns something about his true identity that propels her onto a journey where she is asked to question everything she had once thought to be true about her sister's death. Will it be possible for her to find peace in her life and travel that hard road to forgiveness?
