Under cover of running an arms consignment to Northern Ireland, Simon Vaughan's real mission is to recover for the British Government half a million in bullion daringly hi-jacked and hidden by an ageing leader of the I.R.A But something goes mysteriously wrong and Vaughan is confronted with the terrorist Provisional wing of the I.R.A. They too are after the bullion, and when they realize Vaughan has a hot line to the one man who knows where it is hidden, they put the pressure on.
