Immediately following the collapse of the World Trade Center, 252 international flights were suddenly grounded in Canada. Every hotel room was soon filled, but Canadian ingenuity turned stadiums, churches, service clubs and schools into emergency shelters. Using footage from those harrowing days, personal videos, interviews, and recent reunions, this program follows individual Americans and Canadians as they gave support and friendship to each other.
