Martin Reed is a pitiful man who works as a senior accountant at Southern Toilet Supply and still lives with his overbearing mother. His only escape is his beloved crime novels. He is so engrossed that he doesn't even realize all the crime that is happening around him until he is found to be the prime suspect.
