On the bluffs of Devil’s Head Bay in Newfoundland stands a massive, gothic cottage with a mysterious past. Generations before, the disturbed woman who built the cottage claimed to be visited regularly by the archangel Azrael. As her insanity developed, she became more and more reclusive until one day she vanished altogether. She never resurfaced, but her legend remained.Willa and her best friend Katherine are stranded at the isolated cottage when a tempest of apocalyptic proportions crashes in on them.
