Out of work and desperate for money, Jimmy Clevis accepts an offer from an elderly man named Tull, who hires him to head south to Paloma Springs to find Tull's son - but Jimmy does not realize that he is riding into a rattlesnake's nest of blackmail, theft, hidden identity, and murder.
