On a family reunion celebrating her father-in-law's seventieth birthday at a Vermont ski resort, Faith Fairchild discovers a body on one of the cross-country trails. As vandalism and mayhem disrupt the resort routine, Faith investigates, hoping to get to the bottom of the crime spree, salvage the reunion, prevent the closing of Pine Slopes resort--and save her own life.
