It's a business trip that takes advertising agent Maddie Fitzgerald to New Orleans, but it's hardly business as usual when someone breaks into her hotel room and tries to kill her. Barely escaping with her life, the sexy brunette finds herself face-to-face with FBI agent Sam McCabe. Unnerved by his questions and his good looks, Maddie finds out that she's been mistaken for another woman - a woman who was the target of a killer Sam has been tracking for weeks. Shaken, Maddie returns home to St. Louis. But days later, she is attacked a second time. Now McCabe convinces Maddie that she'll never be safe again until the killer is caught, and the quickest way to do that is to use Maddie as bait.
