Pastor John Corell, a preacher in the old west, is suddenly confronted with the death of his only brother when a posse of vigilantes kills him at the midnight hour. As John paces back and forth inside the church house contemplating his strategic revenge on his brother's murderer, he remembers supernatural stories of the past that influence his next steps.
