At their school reunion, Alisha Barba's pregnant friend Cate tells Ali that someone is after her baby, but when Cate and her husband are struck by a car and killed leaving the event, Ali learns that Cate was faking her pregnancy. Ali and an old colleague, Vincent Ruiz, set out on an investigation that takes them from London to Amsterdam's red-light district in search of answers.
