Mike Raddigan rides north to Montana Territory to claim the land left to him by his estranged father, who had been murdered. He discovers that his inherited land is vast and highly coveted. Mike seeks out his father's killer among the dangerous, greedy neighbors and citizens of the unfriendly town.
