Boxing champ Shane Casey leaves a life of organized crime to pursue a recording career in Los Angeles with his wife, Katherine. Familiar trouble comes when an old friend connected to a New Orleans mobster introduces Shane to Lola, a sultry bayou girl with a voice that will help launch his new career. Shane has no idea that Lola's mobster boyfriend is connected to a past payoff he took for a fall in the ring that ended his career.
