Hennessey and Yellich find themselves seeking the body of a man missing for ten years. But the mystery turns into murder and naturally the bossy widow, nicknamed the long-haired colonel by her husband, is a suspect in his murder. And then a second and third body is discovered along with a particularly nasty brand of political extremism involving just a few too many respected local businessmen.
