On the trail of a jewel robber, Scotland Yard Superintendent John Brent waits with the police outside the thief's next anticipated target. Avoiding arrest, the thief fatally shoots Brent and escapes on his boat. Brent's policeman son vows to find the man responsible--the man he will come to know as "Queer Face."
