After ex-gunslinger, Vern Longacre, is nearly killed in a stampede of Flying T cattle, he tries to help Tanalee Timmons, the young ranch owner, protect her spread from the unscrupulous gamblers who want to wrest it from her. As Vern gets involved in the troubles of the Flying T, he discovers that Tana’s brother, Beau, has been helping the gamblers destroy the ranch.
