Kay Ormsby has finally decided - after accidentally setting her house on fire - that it's time she moved to Sunset Manor, a home for senior citizens. However, even in her retirement, Miss Ormsby is anything but inactive and she has no intention of going gently into that good night. This is cause for concern from Mrs. Rawlings, Sunset Manor's administrator. It's all she can do to maintain gentility and decorum in the midst of poisonous warfare among residents, complaints to the Health Authority, octogenarians obsessed with the opposite sex and a cornucopia of other problems - and now she is faced with a rabble-rousing iconoclast as well.
