A low-level CIA bureaucrat files a report that notes an unusual pattern of movements of a specialized North Korean railcar designed to carry radioactive material. An alert senior CIA specialist reaches out to some old friends he used to work with back in the day, Blake and Kat Zane. They are now independently wealthy and have started a new venture, The Clean World Foundation. Working off their super-sophisticated ocean yacht, Dauntless, they are currently working on a project cleaning plastic from the Sea of Japan and agree to be the CIA's eyes and ears on the mysterious North Korean activity.
