Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of John Ford who was born 5 November 1808 in Kingsbridge, Devonshire, England. He first married Elizabeth Reid ca. 1839. Elizabeth died in 1847 and John then married Mary Ann Summers ca. 1848. He was the father of fourteen children. Most of his children immigrated to Canada and settled in the Canadian Provinces of Newfoundland and Ontario.
