When Roan's parents and the people of Longlight perish in a raid, 15- year old Roan is torn between a desire for revenge and the pledge to peace that ruled his village. Taken in by a sect of warrior priests, he discovers he has exceptional talent as a fighter, but cannot agree with the twisted and dark mythology they follow.
