Faithful to the novel, the film chronicles the last summer of young FÔelix Leclerc in the family home in La Tuque, Quebec, just before he left the region to study in Ottawa. Several dramatic, epic or lighter adventures follow one another. So many events that will give Felix the opportunity to gradually break out of childhood. We are in the 1920's. Leclerc is then 12 years old.
