Summary:
Once: A nameless busker, singing his heart out on the streets of Dublin meets a nameless young woman who speaks English with an accent, a street vendor. His girlfriend has left him, so he works in his father's vacuum repair shop and writes songs for her. She cleans houses, and plays the demo piano in a shop at lunchtime. The singer comes to hear her, and is so impressed that he immediately asks if she wants to collaborate -- right then -- on one of his tunes. They slowly piece the song together, and magic begins. This is a love story about a creative partnership, and the deeper longing for communication that underlies any worthwhile artistic effort.

Slumdog Millionaire: Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) is just one question away from winning a fortune on India's version of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' But how has this uneducated young man from the slums succeeded in providing correct responses to questions that have stumped countless scholars before him? And will he ultimately win it all or lose everything, including his true love?

Walk the line: Traces Johnny Cash's childhood, including his distant father to his early attempts at a music career. At this point in his life he marries his girlfriend Vivian. During a tour with singer/musicians Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, he encounters singer June Carter, and his love for her, and her rejection of him through the years, spurs him into drugs, drinking, and depression. June is both a sassy spitfire singer whose charm breaks hearts and eventually becomes a sympathetic friend who tries to help Johnny get over her. A true love story of two country music stars.
