Summary:
Saw: Obsessed with teaching his victims the value of life, a deranged, sadistic serial killer is abducting morally wayward people and forcing them to play horrifric games for their own survival. Faced with impossible choices, each victim must struggle to win back his or her life, or else die trying.

Saw II: Jigsaw ... returns in this ... bloody sequel. Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) is a police detective who, after discovering the aftermath of a particularly gruesome murder, is convinced that Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) is up to his ugly tricks again. Matthew's hunch turns out to be correct, but the master criminal proves to be disconcertingly easy to capture. As it happens, Jigsaw is eager to be put behind bars in order to throw the authorities off his trail as he once again punishes people who in his eyes have transgressed the boundaries of acceptable moral behavior ... Eight people have been locked away by Jigsaw, and, [in a booby trapped shelter]--they must torture their bodies and minds to achieve the terrible justice Jigsaw seeks.

Saw III: Jigsaw is missing, and with his new apprentice, Amanda, the puppet master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture. While the city detectives scramble to locate him, Dr. Denlon and Jeff are unaware that they are about to beome the latest pawns on Jigsaw's vicious chessboard.
