Gertie Barrett is the consummate volunteer. She's been helping the people of Lewisporte all her life. This past summer, one of Gertie's nephews decided it was time someone did something for her. He brought her to Labrador for her first time ever and gave her a unique boat tour of some of the most gorgeous country that part of the province has to offer. She also had the chance to enjoy one of her favorite pastimes salmon fishing.
