Hard, hard times - In Western and Northern Newfoundand the inshore fishery was a complete failure this year. Land and Sea assesses the situation in several communities on the Northern Peninsula where many fishermen have already sold their boats and moved to Toronto looking for work.

Indian Islands reunion. - years Indian Islands were empty - The houses have been floated away to Fogo and the people scattered under the re-settlement program. In the summer of 1988 they all came back, or it seemed that way for suddenly there were tents and people everywhere. Some were meeting each other for the first time in years. As they laughed, cried, danced and wandered the old trails, they told stories and remembered the island that was once home.
