Newfoundland cowboys - they come from all walks of life but have one thing in common - their love of riding. So, each summer, the Newfoundland cowboys take saddles and spurs, stetsons and chaps and head west to the Rockies. We follow them on the mountain trails near Banff.

Back home to Rencontre East - when Tom Caines was growing up in Rencontre East, he'd stare out over the water and wonder about the world outside, dreaming of the day when he could find out for himself. Eventually Tom Caines did get away, spending years in Halifax, Toronto and St. John's. Now Tom has come home to the isolation of Rencontre east and he is making a difference.
