Two young sons in the O'Brien family of Bay Bulls show their dedication to an independent way of life - fishing by long liners. They were filmed in action on both land and sea.

Wilf Parsons and his family made the decision to settle in an isolated area around Lethbridge over twenty years ago. They have cleared enough land to earn a good living from farming but they have experienced the hazards of agriculture as well.
