Egg man from Labrador -- Mike Joseph's struggle to set up a hennery in Goose Bay is a story of perserverance and determination in the face of bureaucratic stupidity and ineptitude. The so-called experts said the egg farm would never work. But Mike Joseph, the "Eggman of Labrador", proved them wrong. Today his hennery is supplying fresh eggs to much of Labrador.

Forestry in Birchy Bay -- The people of Birchy Bay and surrounding communities make their living from the woods, cutting pulpwood, sawing and firewood. It's a productive forest but there are also problems, notably insect attacks, poor cutting practices, and a shortage of access road. We view these people as they make their living from the woods, and as they manage their forests.
