Air sea rescues - the Grenfell, a Coast Guard ice-breaker, assigned to the Northeast waters of Newfoundland has brought a tremendous sense of security to the fishermen of the area. Herb Pittman, a longliner captain in Englee, is a handicapped person having only one arm. He is also one of the most successful in the province. Land and Sea singled him out as the best example of a handicapped worker during Achievement Week.
