Little Star is told over and over again exactly where not to 'tinkle': not in the sandbox, not on a horse, not on a slide and not in the pool! The toddler's mounting distress and discomfort is made evident through facial expressions as Little Star tries desperately to enjoy different experiences while endeavoring not to have an accident. At the end of the story, Little Star, having made it through many adventures, safely sits on the potty, relief apparent in a big smile.
