Convicted for a murder he did not commit, John Brant escapes prison and rides out west, where he joins up with an outlaw gang. It's not long before Brant finds out that his new pal Jones actually committed the murder for which he was framed. Tempers flare when both cowboys fall for the same pretty shop girl and the various lies are uncovered.
