Janeau Trudel, a twelve-year-old hockey player whose existence is turned upside down by the sudden death of his mother from aneurysm rupture . In this sequel we find the hero in the Bantam AA alongside Joey Boulet, which he finally gained respect by allowing the Lynx of Mont-Saint-Hilaire to win the Quebec City tournament. However, the team then goes on a series of defeats and sees Mike, his coach, be floored by a heart attack. Replaced by BenoÒit Thibault, a man from the midget AAA, who focuses on defensive play and excessive opportunism. Combined with his harsh comments and uncompromising character, his narrow-minded strategies cause so much anguish among players that Janeau even thinks of giving up the sport.
