This guide is designed to help quickly identify what types of data are available for different geographic levels within each province and territory, and to provide direction for obtaining needed information. Part I lists federal government data sources and part II lists provincial and territorial sources in separate chapters each subdivided into the geographic levels for which the individual provincial or territorial government provides information. For each entry, the following information is provided: name of agency producing the data; title of document or database containing the information; format in which the information is available; how often the data are updated; who to contact for more information about the data or how to obtain it; and additional information about the data or its geographic availability.
