Resilience is a beautiful collection of obscure, hidden jewel songs that exist like the women who are painted in them - in the background of things, stoically carrying on and quietly rising, despite the obstacles that would keep them relegated to that place. Rosemary has taken up the mantel of Elizabeth Greenleaf and Maud Karpeles that has been lovingly carried by Pamela Morgan and Anita Best and we should all be grateful to see it carry on. It's a truly wonderful collection of early girl power anthems.
