Sara and Justin begin a correspondence that strengthens their friendship that began at the Congrßes mondial acadien in 1994. Sara is still haunted by nightmares and by the desire to find her biological mother. She continues her research, while Justin, bereaved by the loss of his dear grandfather, is offered a week's vacation in Scott, Louisiana.
