Franklin the fabulous: After seeing the amazing illusions of a travelling magician, Franklin is inspired to stage his own magic show. His premiere performance goes awry when he attempts to master the hardest tricks first.

Franklin's reading club: To promote literacy, the library is giving out tee-shirts to young readers, and Franklin wants to be the first one in the neighbourhood to wear one. Franklin succeeds in the challenge, but discovers he's read all his books so fast, he didn't get a chance to enjoy them.

Franklin and the gloomy day: The weather is gloomy and so is Franklin. There's no one to play with and nothing to do. With Mom and Dad's encouragement, and his own creative imagination, Franklin learns how to chase away those boredom blues.
