The Second World War is raging in far-off Europe but for Izzie Morash, wartime rationing is all but forgotten. Christmas is fast approaching on the South Shore of Nova Scotia and this year grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all coming to visit. Izzie can't wait to have a real family holiday. All seems lost, however, when a storm hits two days before the big event. Will Izzie be able to save the Christmas celebrations?
